Live Bait vs. Artificial Bait

From you own experience which would you prefer to use during ice fishing seasons. Usually I stick with artificial jigs and tube jigs but the minows work great when you need to attract the fish in. Maggots also work great to catch perch when used with artifical jigs. Through my experience I would say that artificial bait works better than live bait but I would not leave live bait out of the picture.
